 Rohtas District 

Rohtas district was created by the bifurcation of Shahabad district in Rohtas district and Bhojpur district in 1972. This district is the part of Patna division of Bihar

Rohtas district is spread in 3881 km square, in which 80 km square for Urban areas and 3795 km square for Rural areas.

Sasaram is the Head-quarter of Rohtas district. 

Most spoken languages of this district is Bhojpuri, Hindi and English.
