This is my first blog. I want to write about the famous Waterfall near Tilothu.
TUTLA WATERFALL
Tutleshawari Mata Dham is also known as Tutla Bhawani. This is a very beautiful natural waterfall, which is situated in tilauthu block of Rohtas district of Bihar.
Tutla Bhawani Waterfall is falling from the hill of kaimur on three sides. This is one of the most beautiful tourist area of Bihar.
The elders here say that no one has made the statue of Tutleshawari Mata, but the Goddess herself has appeared. It's estimated that this is a very old temple.
Tilauthu is the nearest market from Tutla Bhawani Waterfall and approx 20 km south west from Dehri-on-sone. This valley is about 300m wide in the east, it shrinks to only 50m in the west, where the waterfall falls from a height about 400 feet. A river originated from this waterfall which is known as Tutahi, which joins the Sone Nad.
In recent times, this site has been developed as an eco-tourism destination by the forest department. All tourist facilities are available here including road, swing bridge, e-rickshaw.
How to reach:
- By Air - Nearest airport are Patna, Varanasi and Gaya.
- By Train - Nearest railway station is Dehri-on-sone and Sasaram.
- By Road - Situated on NH2 Road connectivity from Patna, Ara, New Delhi, Kolkata, Ranchi, etc.
My experience
I always go to Tutla Bhawani Waterfall with my family. Away from traffic, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, spending time with nature, which calms the mind and relaxes the heart.
